BACKSTORY
K'sara's story begins with her mother K'namru, a courtesan that worked at the pleasure houses Kugane. A Miqo'te who became void-tainted after coming into contact with an object tainted by the void worn by one of her patrons. This event inevitably would lead to her becoming a voidsent and her future children becoming half voidsent.K'namru after becoming void-tainted became pregnant after another of her patrons, an Au Ra man of the Steppes visited her at the pleasure houses. As a result K'namru nded up leaving the pleasure houses to live in the steppes, however outside of Reunion it was obvious that it is not a safe place for K'namru. Once the children were born their father took Suvd Qerel, the Au Ra child, back to his tribe and K'namru went back to her tribe in Gyr Abania taking their Miqo'te child K'sara with them, the two children each having an amulet made for them so they could find each other later in life.K'sara grew up integrating well within the tribe being trained by her mother in hunting and trained by others in the tribe in hunting and living off the land. In her teen life tragedy would strike their close knit relationship when her mother, while out hunting, succumbed to her void-tainted aether corruption turning her into a monsterous voidsent. While struggling to retain her reason K'namru urged her daughter, but K'sara was frozen in place, having been forced to just watch as her mother turned into a monster. Before she could run, another group of tribe members were returning from a hunt and saw a monster near one of their own, petrified and slayed her mother trying to protect her, the series of events permanently scarring her.It took time for K'sara to emotionally recover. Once she recovered from her psychological trauma, K'sara left the tribe to find her sister, who she did eventually find. The two together would later discover the truth of what they were. They were their own monsters half-voidsent beings, each of them slightly differing, with Suvd being a voidsent of succubus like nature, while K'sara being more of a vampiric nature.Both K'sara and Suvd took to fighting Garleans in the war until it came to an end feeding on their aether for the time, but once the war ended they had to find other means to sustain themselves. They each found their own ways to do satisfy their cravings K'sara taking up similar avenues as her mother and Suvd returning to the Steppes where there was plenty of means to gather aether.
